PORT AVENTURA GOLF RESORT
Port Aventura Golf provides a unique combination of three courses designed by Greg Norman– North, Centre and South with 2 separate entrances and clubhouses and a variety of facilities for the whole family.
The North Course has been constructed on an area of recovered wetlands declared of natural interest by the Government of Catalonia, the 18 holes blend in harmoniously with the original landscape whilst at the same time incorporate a variety of obstacles using the existing landscape.
The centre course is a 9 hole par 34 located on the highest part of the resort and situated amongst olive an carob groves, replanted to maintain the original landscape. The course can be combined with either of the 2 other courses to offer more variety.
The south course and corresponding clubhouse offer the best views of all with the sight of the Mediterranean over forests of white pine. The design of the course with it’s fairways and greens surrounded by olives and carob plantations make you forget that they are flanked by challenging bunkers.
Although the course is suitable for competition play there is sufficient entertainment on every hole to suit players of all standards.Although Salou and the surrounding area are better known for Mediteranean beaches and holidays by the sea, the resort whilst offering some of the better hotels within the area complements totally the flavour of the Country House Villa and Hotel holidays available on the Country Holidays in Spain Website. Whilst the resort is only 10 mins. from Reus airport it is also very close to many of the Eirescot Catalan Conexion bargain Spanish country rental homes.
